“ Positive i can only hope to be ” – every day poetry 34

“Positive

i can only hope to be”

  • ☯ positive

i can only hope to be

looked through lenses

still hard to see

though others

maintain hopes and glisten

supporting my vision

and seeing them in it too

as I see for them

their vision

easier, than to see for me

  • ☯ positive

i can only hope to be

for myself

as others i see

bringing to fruition

college tuition

and, a place to be

that is studies harmony

songs of art sung

through winds and weather of winter

as if spring sprung

and summers bees sting

and falls leaves bring

eclectic collections for all sing

as words flow from soul

be from universe

or me alone

where lover comes to bring me home

none of my complexities left her alone

still she my hero in strength not gone

falling i am – seen not my own

flying me to a private place

where all is known not hid in face

as always with me but sphere of freed

in arms embraced my body displaced

relinquish unmerited hate been traced

  • ☯ positive

i can only hope to be

to get me far from the negativity

negativity plagued my soul from go

use, i can, all the help that’s found

real help that is

words and actions that play like song

affirm the confirmed that i belong

to the precious belief of life so longed

so in you and all

bring encouragement not to gnaw

gnawing at a soul already torn

but to do in building

what i give to U – do give to me

i can only hope to be”
