Leilani is not here
Leilani is not here, chip chip cheereo. No homework today. Leilani broke her frenulum.
We don’t need to write twenty minutes or swing a writing prompt like a pendulum.
We can even try to rhyme. Be it pretentious or contrived.
I won’t stop rhyming and I mean it. I won’t stop to grab another peanut.
I don’t have writing on my mind. My IP address is blocked by this WiFi router.
And Leilani believes I’m being abstract but I’m not. That’s exactly more or less what the left side of my poisoned Oreo thought.
Dead in the middle?
A wrote a song in the shower about a perfect day. I see now that it was just a cliché.
I thought Gaga might appreciate the irony and do it some justice.
Plug the GPS grid into her moral compass cube solving Rubrics.
My wandering mind seduced by the steaming acoustics.
Alas it’s thirteen thirty when we said we would be done.
In fact it’s already thirteen thirty one.
